Lea Salonga's Half-Brother Nabbed in Pasig Drug Bust

Lea Salonga's half-brother, Philip, was arrested in a bar in Julia Vargas, Pasig City early Friday, September 9, for drug peddling.

According to QCPD chief Senior Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, Philip Salonga was nabbed by the police in a buy-bust operation in Pasig City. Found in his possessions were 12 ecstasy tablets, three packers of dried marijuana, a cell phone and approximately ₱14,000.

He was then identified by two peddlers arrested earlier as the 'source.'

Reports said that the operation took place in a bar in Julia Vargas Ave. in Pasig City and was led by Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 11.

Philip already claimed that Lea did not know about his drug-peddling business.
