Pacquiao: I am Not Denying I Tried Drugs Before

Senator Manny Pacquiao admitted on Monday that he used drugs when he was younger.

Pacquiao said he is supporting President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs because he tried it and knew himself its adverse effects.

Pacquiao also said that he support the administration's war on drugs for the country to become more progressive and for people to become more productive.

The senator's admission came after the news hit international media that he took all kinds of drugs as a teenager before becoming a boxing champion.

During the senate hearing, he emphasized that aside from seizing drug users and pushers, the senate must also discuss rehabilitation options to give people a chance to change.
