Anti-narcotics agents arrested a notorious drug pusher and seized P.4 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or “shabu,” in a sting in Malate, Manila, September 20, 2016, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 3 (PDEA) said.
Glenn M. Guillermo, PDEA Region Information Officer identified the suspect as Edmenies B. Batayola alias Jay-Ar, 25, a resident of no. 214 C Remy St., Park Ave., Libertad, Pasay City.

Guillermo disclosed that Batayola who has been a target of Oplan Tokhang was known to be a big-time pusher in Bulacan and had been in PDEA’s radar since May 2016 but transferred his residence in Pasay to avoid apprehensions from authorities.
“PDEA-3 agents were able to negotiate with the suspect for the sale of 100 grams of shabu for P200,000 and agreed to meet inside the mall in Malate where he was arrested”, he added.
