During a press conference before he left for the Association
of Southeast Asian Nation(ASEAN), Duterte stated that he is not obligated to
anyone except the Filipino citizens who trusted and voted him.
"I do not have any master except the Filipino people.
Nobody but nobody", said Duterte.
He also added "I do not — I said, I do not kneel down
before anybody else, except the Filipino in Quiapo walking in misery and in
extreme poverty and anger."

President Rodrigo Duterte's campaign against drugs kindled the
issue of extrajudicial killings. Reportedly, 2,400 people died because of the
bloody war on drugs.
For weeks he has been criticized by the US state department
for human rights but, he said is ready to face United States President Barack Obama and will not explain
nor quarrel with the most powerful president of any countries.
When asked about the issue. His reply was "You must be
respectful. You must not just throw away questions. P*t*ng i*a, mumurahin kita
dyan." [Son of a bitch, I'll curse you in front of everybody.] Tell that to
everybody."
"Everybody has a terrible record of extrajudicial
killings," Duterte pointed out.
Duterte added that his country might be
small and strive economically but everyone should be treated equally. He said
that every leaders should treat individuals as equals and not more sovereign than
the other.
He also pointed out Filipino columnists that were singing
praises to Obama as if the Philippines is weak and needs controlling. He
questioned why they trusted him so much instead of their country's? He challenged that if they don't like how he
ruled the Philippines they are welcome to leave the country.
Duterte advised Obama to mind his own business which is the
human rights problems of the United States first before going nose to nose with other countries.
He asked: "Why make issue about fighting crime?"
Alluding to the fact that Obama can't even solve the problem regarding
Mexico's border on how they treat their migrants there.
He also added that the US has already been on his skin
regarding the incident in Philippine history in Mindanao wherein 600,000 Moros
died.
As a matter of fact, at the turn of the century, before the
Americans stepped the Philippines, in the pacification campaign of the Moro in
this island, there were about six million ang population ng Moro."
"If he can answer that question, and give the apology,
I will answer him," Duterte said.
Until Obama address this issue, he doesn't have the right to
question the judicial killings in the Philippines.
As for his war in illegal drugs, it will still continue until the last drug pusher and manufacturer are killed. No matter what other people will think and leaders would say.
