President Rodrigo Duterte graced an event late Friday, November 11, hours after cancelling his appearance and anticipated interview with Kris Aquino at the National MSME Summit due to migraine.
The president led the launch of the Pilipino May Puso Foundation, set up in honor of his late mother, Soleded Duterte, radio DZMM reported. He administered the oath of Rowena Velasco as the foundation’s chairman.
During his speech, the chief executive explained that he had to miss the town hall session participated by micro, small and medium enterprises to rest since he was not feeling well.
The president also had to cancel his highly-anticipated interview with Kris Aquino, who served as the moderator of town hall meet.
“Minsan first date hindi natutuloy. Mr. President, pinaghandaan kita, nag-diet ako ng dalawang lingo,” the TV host jokingly said after being snubbed by Duterte.
“Mr. President, I hope one day mahalin mo rin ako,” she added
