We've seen President Rodrigo Duterte in his "gentle moments" with kids. Now, see the President show total respect to an old lady.
While the President is often bashed 'anti-women' and ruthless because of his jokes and statements, he has proven time and again that he has high regards for women, contrary to what his words might convey at times.
One example is when he went to Bacolod City to officially grace the opening of Masskara Festival.
There he met the mother of DSWD Sec. Judy M. Taguiwalo, and just like any respectful person, he took her hand in a Filipino gesture called 'pagmamano.'
The Head of the Presidential Management Staff Bong Go also made the same gesture, much to the old lady's surprise and delight.
"Nanay got to meet President Digong and Sec Bong Go before the start of the program to open the 2016 Masskara Festival of Bacolod City! Nagmano ang dalawa as she is 97 years old and will be turning 98 next month. Like Pres. Digong mother, Nanay was a public school teacher," Sec. Taguiwalo wrote on Facebook.
