President Rodrigo R. Duterte is set to sign the Executive Order, creating the Bangsamoro Transition Committee (BTC) on November 3 in Davao City.
Patmei Ruivivar, communications director of the Office of Presidential Adviser on Peace Process, said on Monday the OPAPP executives and members of the government’s implementing peace panel met in Clark, Pampanga to finalize the composition of the BTC members coming from the government side.
“We worked on it last week. We held a strategic planning ng OPAPP execs, kasama ang implementing panel ng Bangsamoro Accords. We finalized the composition of the BTC members ng government side,” she said.
She added that the EO on BTC has already been forwarded to Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea for vetting.
Members of the GPH’s BTC will be revealed after the signing of the EO on the BTC.
