More than
50 celebrities are now on the drug list of the National Capital Region
Police Office (NCRPO), the additional names cropping up following the
arrest of two former starlets in separate drug bust operations.
According to Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde, NCRPO director, 54 celebrities are on their list after former sexy stars Sabrina M. and Krista Miller had spilled some names when Quezon City policemen arrested them recently.
Albayalda said that every time they make an arrest, more names are being added in the list because the suspects reveal the people they transact with.
The official also revealed that some names of celebrities are frequently being mentioned, including Sabrina M and Krista Miller, during interrogations. He, however, refused to divulge the other names.
Earlier, Director General Ronald dela Rosa, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), vowed to run after celebrities who are into illegal drugs, particularly Ecstasy and other party drugs.
Dela Rosa encouraged the celebrities to surrender instead of risking their life and limbs and even their reputation if they are arrested in legitimate police operations.
So far, Albayalde said a total of 54 celebrities are on their list based on intelligence reports and the information being squealed by pushers or users who were already arrested.

voluntarily surrender the celebrities who are hook on illegal drugs.
OplanTokhang, which was started by Dela Rosa when he was still the top cop of Davao City, is now on a nationwide basis, with policemen visiting the houses of pushers and users on the PNP list.
However, the official also warned the talent managers to make sure that the drug tests are done in accredited drug test centers and that they should be done in the presence of policemen.
It was later learned that Mark Anthony Fernandez was not included in the NCRPO list if celebrity drug watch.
Some police officials said that the reason could be the fact that the focus of policemen is on pushers and users of shabu, cocaine, and party drugs.
Fernandez was arrested in Angeles City in Pampanga with more or less a kilo of marijuana.
Chief Supt. Aaron Aquino, director of Central Luzon regional police, said they have been hearing in the past that Fernandez is a customer of marijuana, his supplies being bought from pushers in Pampanga.
