Atlantis of the Philippines, San Juan, San Joa to some Portuguese is an island in the northeastern tip of Mindanao. It can be found in the Ancient maps from 16th to 18th century. It is bigger than Bohol but the same size area with Panay.
According to Abraham Herrera,when he went to the island, he found houses and palaces made of golds and the residents' skin color are blue instead of kayumanggi. When Abraham left the island he brought two sacks of gold that the island's leader gifted to him.
But, because of natural calamities such as earthquake, tsunami, hurricanes, etc. the island sunk.
