During the buy bust operation of Silay City' PNP, they have arrested Jimsel Balboa and Dennis Esmeralda.
According to Balboa, he was asked by his long time friend, Esmeralda if it is okay to let him be the consignee or receiver of the package. He said yes even though he doesn't have any idea what is inside the package that he was going to receive and when he was asked if he knew the sender, he said he didn't.
The package contained lotion bottles, soap, tissue papers, canned foods and shampoo bottles. The package was sent through LBC courier and it came from a certain Pochol Bernabe from Muntinlupa City.
But the authorities found out that inside the lotion bottles were 17 sachets of shabu weighing 330 grams with a street value of P3.3 million.
According to Supt. Willy Diel, Silay City's PNP Chief, Esmeralda is the #1 Most Wanted Drug Personality in Muntinlupa City, where he resided for awhile and charged with various cases. Not before his one-month-stay in Silay City, Negros occidental, He was also charged with frustrated murder case.
